Grapefruit Margarita

It's a pleasure to relax with freshly made Margarita after a long day. This recipe doesn't require much time and effort. Just three ingredients, tequila(silver or gold), agave or raw sugar and sour pomelo/white grapefruit to create this delicious concoction.

We have a pomelo/white grapefruit tree in the backyard that produces so many fruits every year. They are round in shape with smooth bright yellow skin and white flesh. The smell of the pomelo is so sweet but tastes as sour as lemon. The only thing I can think of making with this fruit is "Margarita".  It's a very refreshing drink for adults on hot summer days.

Ingredients~
1/2 cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
3 tbsp agave syrup( adjust sweetness level)
3-4oz. Tequila
2oz. Cointreau or Grand Marnier or Triple Sec
4 regular size distilled ice cubes
1/2 cup chilled distilled water
Kosher salt or sea salt to rim glasses
Lemon wedges for garnishing

Method~
This recipe is for two servings. Chill two glasses in the refrigerator. Mix together first 4 ingredients. Rim the glasses with salt and put 2 ice cubes in each glass, then pour Margarita mix over two glasses. Garnish with a  lemon wedge and serve. Cheers!!

Note~Drink responsibly!!
